Th center is constantly evolving



 

 Beyond the many releases of animals and other interventions , the center Nuestra Fauna is currently working on a major project for the development of the center : 

Valle Alto

 

The ongoing project Valle Alto project. We wish to transfer part of the center to another field, Valle Alto. This land has an area of ​​18 hectares, and a continuation of 800 hectares of primary and secondary semi- humid tropical forest. In addition, it has  flora and fauna of great wealth, and it is far from the city. This makes it an ideal place for the rehabilitation of wild animals only in this area of its geographical location.

 

 The goal is to develop this land and give animals a chance of being released, and whose rehabilitation will be more suitable here. This new part of the center will have the same stages of rehabilitation : quarantine, adaptation and pre- release, with most species release on this site for animals in the area.

 

 In contrast, animals that can not be released due to physical or behavioral problems, or those whose habitat is different from Valle Alto will remain on the current site.
