The surroudings
The center has an area of 4 hectares, fully wooded, which constitutes a suitable environment for the animals.
Surgical procedures
Injured animals are treated at the clinic. Some are so bad they require surgical opeartions, performed by the veterinarian Carlos Solorzano Pinargote, who may be assisted by other veterinary university and volunteers.
The center at UTM

The area of adaptation
After going through the wellness animal area, the animal passes to the area of adaptation. It then remains in large cages or pens, where we have a first look at his behavior and his movements.
Exibition area
In the exibition area, one can find some species that reached the center in critical condition and the total recovery was impossible.
The area of pre-release
Once passed by the area of adaptation, the animal is then released into the reserve center, which allows us to study its actual behaviour, its ability to survive, etc, and whether a release is possible and when.
The wellness area
C'est ici que les animaux blessés sont pris en charge et que l'on procède à toutes les procédures médicales, ainsi que la mise en place des puces. Elle est composée de la zone d'isolement, de l'aire de quarantaine, et de la clinique.
Daily activities
Daily activities are varied : feeding animals, cleaning cages, animal care and operations if necessary, subsitute mother, construction, ground maintenance, harvesting fruits...

Donations
Some animals arrive by donations, they are led by people who have found them, or bought them and they bring them back because their animal became agressive or suffering.
Transfers to Amazonia
The transfer of animals until their release site. Some animals are also transfer until Amazon, their place of origin they left because of the traffic.
